Hi Maurice, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I had a friend who started doing music and I didn’t wanna be in his music video so I took it upon myself to start shooting his music videos and I did it for like a year shooting his videos only and I start liking it and went from there and started evolving and learning more from YouTube all self taught
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ll say the hardest thing for me is just watching some of my clients pass away from violence and just the things that you rap about and then learning learning the basics of a camera learning how to deal with clients and learning to how to edit videos where to start from.

I’m a videographer and content creator specializing in music videos and visual storytelling. Over the past six years, I’ve developed my skills in directing, filming, and editing, creating high-quality content that helps artists and brands stand out.
Recently, I’ve been expanding into business and commercial content, working to connect with brands and help them grow through engaging visuals and strategic storytelling.
What I’m most proud of is my consistency and dedication. I’ve stayed committed to my craft, continued improving, and built my skills from the ground up. What sets me apart is my work ethic, creativity, and ability to bring ideas to life while adapting to different styles and client needs.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
One of the biggest risks I’ve taken is prioritizing my videography career while working a steady job. I’ve traveled out of state for client shoots, knowing it could impact my job, because I’m committed to building something long-term. I’ve also invested my own time and money into improving my skills and expanding my network
