Hi Lina Maria, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always wanted to build something of my own; something that would feel like me, reflect my vision, and represent the way I choose to live life. I knew I wanted to create something meaningful, but for a long time, I wasn’t quite sure what that something would be.
Throughout my life, I’ve noticed how much I appreciate the little things: quality time with the people I care about, meaningful conversations, beautiful surroundings, and turning ordinary moments into lasting memories. I’ve always believed that life doesn’t have to be a special occasion to be celebrated. Sometimes, the most beautiful moments are the simple ones we create just because we want to enjoy life and each other.
That idea is what inspired the birth of Magic Moments.
Magic Moments is about creating aesthetically beautiful and thoughtfully designed spaces where people can slow down, connect, be present, and truly enjoy each other’s company. We create luxury picnics and beautiful tablescapes for all kinds of occasions—from birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations to romantic dates and intimate gatherings. But our favorite occasion will always be “just because.”
Because life is worth celebrating in every moment.
There is something so special about creating a beautiful space and watching it become part of someone’s story. Seeing our guests relax, laugh, connect, make memories, and share genuine smiles is what makes Magic Moments so meaningful to me.
Creating these experiences brings me so much happiness. It allows me to combine my love for beautiful details with something even more important: creating moments that people will remember long after the table is cleared and the picnic is packed away.
That is what Magic Moments is all about; celebrating life, creating connection, and making ordinary moments feel a little more magical
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any startup, one of the biggest challenges we have faced is gaining exposure and building awareness within our community. Because of the nature of our business, operating in the Midwest also comes with an additional challenge: unpredictable weather. Our outdoor experiences are a big part of what makes Magic Moments special, but the changing seasons can make it difficult to operate consistently throughout the entire year.
We do offer indoor picnics and tablescaping experiences during the colder months, which allows us to continue creating beautiful moments for our guests year-round. However, we have found that, for now, our outdoor experiences are what our guests enjoy the most.
We have now been in business for one year, and this first year has taught us so much about entrepreneurship, patience, and perseverance. We understand that building something meaningful takes time. Like anything worth pursuing, we know that dedication, consistency, creativity, and faith are essential to sustaining our business and continuing to grow. There is great value in being able to turn these challenges into lessons learned.
We are excited about what the future holds for Magic Moments. We know there is still so much to learn, improve, and create, but we are committed to continuing to show up, serve our guests with intention, and turn our vision into experiences that people will remember.

I am not only proud that we took the leap and started Magic Moments, but I am even more proud of the dedication, care, and attention to detail we put into every single event.
We think about each guest and take the time to personalize their experience, because we believe no two celebrations should feel the same. From the smallest details to the overall atmosphere, everything is thoughtfully planned with our guests in mind. Our goal is to create an experience that feels personal, intentional, and truly special to them.
Knowing that each event we create becomes part of someone’s memories is what motivates us to continue giving our best. We don’t simply set up a picnic or a tablescape, we create an experience designed specifically for the people sitting at the table.
