Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaylee Peile.
Hi Kaylee, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have always been drawn to fashion and find self-expression through the clothes that I wear.
When I entered the professional world, I found that the majority of people around me had forgone their personal style for what Corporate America and society-at-large deemed acceptable. I think that there should be a balance between creativity and professionalism and founded Embody Style on that principle. I help clients rediscover their personal brand while elevating and amplifying their style.
Since its inception, Embody Style has evolved into a spectrum of personal styling services. From basic styling to editorial photoshoots and everything in between, I help guide my clients toward a more curated and authentic wardrobe.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No great life experience is ever smooth! I’ve had my fair share of obstacles and I’m grateful for the lessons I’ve learned along the way. A challenge I have experienced that I’m sure many others have is the conundrum that is work/life/social media balance. Connecting and supporting people is such a passion of mine, but doing it in a way that saves space for myself and doesn’t make me a slave to my phone can be tricky. I’m still working on that, but I think creating boundaries and being more strategic has been helpful! Regardless of any struggles, the experiences I create with my clients make the work I do worth it.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I believe success often comes from a well-rounded and intentional network, and I pride myself in supporting and connecting others in my life so that we all succeed together. Shared vision is vital for the growth of ourselves and our city, and I am excited to further collaborate and uplift others as Kansas City continues to grow.
What matters most to you?
The authentic relationships I have in my life matter most to me. They are my foundation; they reflect my values, and they are the people who help steward and guide me through life. They support me and inspire me to grow and continue to be a better person every day.
