Hi Jude, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My love for photography began long before I ever owned a camera. As a teenager, I found joy in capturing the small details of life, the way light hit a leaf, the colors of a sunset, or the vibrant colors of flowers, all on my phone. I was fascinated by how beauty could be frozen in a single frame. I loved the beauty of nature.
In 2019, on my birthday, my father gifted me my very first camera. From that moment, I photographed everything that caught my eye, from nature to architecture to people. I even created my first photography page back then, but being a little shy, I decided to take it down.
Fast forward to September 2022, I chose to start fresh and fully commit to my passion. I launched Judehab Photography with the goal of turning what I love into something lasting and meaningful. Since then, I’ve been blessed to grow and connect with amazing clients.
I now get to document love stories, milestones, and the little in-between moments that make life special. Every session is a mix of artistry and authenticity. I love creating images that feel timeless, full of light, and true to who my clients are.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been without its challenges. There were moments when I questioned myself. I wondered if my photos were good enough or if I was just chasing a dream that might not go anywhere.
But over time, I realized that growth takes patience, and confidence comes with experience. Once I stopped doubting myself and started focusing on improving, everything began to fall into place. Other than those moments of self-doubt, the journey has been smooth, because when you truly love what you do and put in the effort, the results always follow.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Through Judehab Photography, I specialize in capturing love stories, portraits, and milestones. From engagements and weddings to graduates and families. My goal is always to create images that feel timeless, emotional, and full of life. I love paying attention to the little details; the soft touches, the laughter, the in-between moments that often go unnoticed but mean the most.
What I’m most proud of is the trust people place in me to document some of their most important memories. Every session is deeply personal to me, and I aim to make every client feel comfortable, confident, and seen through my lens. One of the things I’m most proud of is the way my clients describe their experience with me. They often mention how kind, patient, and easygoing I am, and how comfortable they feel in front of my camera, even those who start off shy or nervous. For me, that means everything. Creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience is just as important as delivering beautiful photos.
What sets my work apart is the balance I strive for between authenticity and artistry. I don’t just capture how a moment looks, I capture how it feels. My editing style is light, natural, and true to color, allowing every photo to tell a genuine story while still carrying a touch of elegance and emotion.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is being able to capture genuine moments that people can cherish forever. There’s something so special about freezing time, knowing that years from now, someone will look back at a photo I took and feel that same emotion all over again.
I also find happiness in connecting with my clients, seeing them relax, laugh, and truly enjoy the experience. Knowing that I helped create both a memory and a feeling of comfort means the world to me. Photography gives me purpose and joy because it allows me to share beauty, emotion, and connection through my lens.
I would also like to mention that one of the things that makes me happiest is seeing my clients use my photos as their profile pictures or posting them with love. It’s such a simple thing, but it means so much to me. It shows that they truly love the images and feel confident in how they were captured.
Knowing that something I created makes someone feel beautiful, seen, and proud, is the best feeling in the world. It reminds me why I do what I do and keeps me inspired to continue growing as a photographer.
