Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Henderson.

Hi Jasmine, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hair has been a passion of mine since I was about 5 years old. I would do my sisters hair and as I got older, I started learning to put in extensions and wigs. I did hair in college and college is where I also got connected with God. Understanding that God has made everyone naturally beautiful in His image, there are women who enjoy keeping their hair done and nice. This business dedicates to the spiritual parts of women and the aspect of their expressive needs for their hair. Overall, this business is a great way to build connections to women who are in discovery and wanting to know God and this business also is looking to give back to Non-profit organizations.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting up I am learning that it takes time, patience and money. This business is pretty small, just getting the word out and more content creation to spread the word. No matter what I want to use this platform to reach people and fellowship and share the good news!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I always refer to myself as a woman of all trades. When I put my mind to something I get over excited and start taking the steps to make it happen, sometimes even without thinking about everything. I actually work for the sheriff’s office, serve in the military, and I am also a student, currently enrolled to get my master’s degree in social work. I feel like I find most if not almost my identity in Christ, I am not perfect by any means but when it comes to decisions I make, I think about how this will better myself and the others around me. I feel like I’m not just specialized in one area but starting the hair business this is just one of those areas I am skilled in. I’m proud that I have been able to start up a few new businesses this past year. I feel that my ability to stay determined and love everyone no matter what is, be able to recognize myself as a true daughter in Christ what sets me apart.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I felt like in the past I was a huge risk taker because I never thought about the consequences of what could happen. Now I feel like when it comes to risk, they are having faith and taking that step forward even when you can’t see the clear path.
