Today we’d like to introduce you to Hayley Tiller.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started receiving chiropractic care at a young age after experiencing pain from playing multiple sports growing up. I wanted to stay active and perform my best, but the discomfort started to hold me back. That’s when my dad first introduced me to chiropractic care.
I still remember my first adjustment — the immediate relief I felt and how much better I performed afterward. From that moment, I knew I wanted to help others the same way my chiropractor helped me.
I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Business from Missouri Western State University, and later continued my education at Cleveland University–Kansas City, where I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Now, as the owner and chiropractor at Tiller Chiropractic, I’m passionate about helping others move, feel, and live better through personalized and compassionate chiropractic care.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think most of us can agree — we all struggle in our own ways. For me, one of my biggest challenges was figuring out how to go back to school while supporting myself both financially and emotionally.
I was living alone, working hard just to make ends meet. At one point, I even relied on the SNAP benefits program for over a year — and I’m so grateful for that support. The mental battle of wondering “Is this struggle worth it?” was very real.
Even now, being on a single income and navigating today’s economy isn’t always easy. But through it all, I’ve never once questioned my purpose. I can’t imagine any other career or better way to serve my community.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a chiropractor who treats neuromusculoskeletal disorders with the goal of optimizing overall health by restoring proper function within the nervous system. As a chiropractor, I utilize a variety of techniques tailored to each individual and their specific condition. My approach is centered around personalized care — no two patients are the same, and neither are their treatments.
I specialize in Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) / Functional Movement Screen (FMS), and the Webster Technique (for expectant mothers). I treat patients of all ages — from infants to the elderly — helping each person move, feel, and function at their best.
In addition to chiropractic adjustments, I also offer a range of supportive therapies, including:
• Intersegmental Traction
• Cupping Therapy
• TENS/EMS/Interferential/Microcurrent Therapy
• Graston / IASTM Therapy
• Therapeutic Exercise
What truly sets me apart is my passion for working with infants and children. I understand how intimidating it can feel for new moms to have their little ones adjusted, but the benefits at such a young age are incredible — from easing colic and constipation to supporting ear infections, bed-wetting, and overall development.
How do you define success?
To me, success means growth — both personally and professionally. It’s overcoming challenges, learning from experience, and staying true to my purpose even when things get tough. Success is the fulfillment that comes from helping others live healthier, happier lives.
