Gregory’s love for coffee began at a young age, and over nearly 20 years, he has honed his craft in roasting. His other big passion is people and community, so opening a coffee shop felt like a natural fit. With Briana’s entrepreneurial spirit and her inspiration from seeing others follow their dreams, the two of them teamed up to bring Random’s Coffee to life on Main Street in Gregory’s hometown. Briana saw how deeply Gregory was drawn to the art of coffee roasting and knew it was something special that deserved to be shared with others. Together, they created a place where Gregory’s dedication to roasting could be enjoyed by everyone, while also providing a space for the community to come together. Gregory and Briana’s vision extended beyond coffee, turning Random’s Coffee into a hub where local vendors and artists can share their passions. It’s become a welcoming space for friends, neighbors, and dreamers alike. As Gregory puts it, “My favorite part of the day is getting to talk to and help everyone that walks in the door,” while Briana’s mantra is, “Coffee you love, with people you love.”

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As first-time business owners, we’ve faced our share of challenges, but we tackled each one head-on. From navigating business licensing and building out the space, to the complexities of accounting and taxes—each hurdle taught us something new. When it comes to the trickier aspects, we build a supportive network with people who help guide us, ensuring we can focus on what we do best. In the end, overcoming these challenges brings us closer to our mission.

At Random’s Coffee, we focus on creating an environment where exceptional coffee meets genuine community connection. Gregory specializes in roasting small-batch, single-origin coffees, carefully crafting each batch to bring out the unique flavors of the beans. He’s known for his meticulous attention to detail and passion for sharing the stories behind each cup. Briana, on the other hand, brings her entrepreneurial spirit and knack for building relationships, ensuring that the shop is a welcoming space for everyone who walks through the door.

What we’re most proud of is the community we’ve built. From the regulars who come in daily for their morning brew, to the local artisans and vendors who find a platform through our space, it’s truly a place where people connect over their shared passions.
