Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica McKenna.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi, my name is Erica McKenna and my passion and purpose are to teach women how to heal in collective ways, focusing on the mind, body, and soul. I am a wife and Mama to 3 girls who’d been working in the service industry for over 20 years. My family and I move quite often because my husband works in sports and entertainment so I was comfortable with the convenience it provided me, even though I wasn’t living my true passion.
Then, four years ago our whole life changed unexpectedly. We had a traumatic event that happened within our family and like a mama bear, I began to search for something that would help with this emotional time. I was introduced to three letters: C-B-D, and that’s when my new life journey started! l realized that if this plant was helping people heal in a natural way then there must be others! I also knew that If this plant was new to me then there must be others looking for answers as well!
I turned my family’s healing into a life goal of educating others about the benefits of hemp as well as cannabis. My journey has also led me to become a Reiki practitioner, mindset motivator, social connector, and artist! I guide women toward taking control of their Collective Healing by providing a road map of what that might look like and then walking them through the process.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been exciting and with all the excitement there have been challenges along the way but I believe it’s the challenges in business and in life that provide us with the proof of how much we’ve grown.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work one on one with my clients aligning them with products and/or services specific to their individual needs.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I have learned how to adjust and pivot in business and personal relationships. Take the time to create balance within your life. I practice gratitude every day and focus on the things that are special and bring me joy. I also thrive on making others laugh while focusing on mindset and motivation.
