Today we’d like to introduce you to Charniece Rollie.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In the heart of the Kansas City Metropolitan area, one woman’s dedication to service, integrity, and community has given rise to one of the area’s most trusted mobile notary and signing service providers — Rollie Mobile Notary Services.
Founded by Charniece Rollie, a lifelong Kansas City resident with over 25 years of experience in the legal industry, Rollie Mobile Notary Services was born out of a simple yet powerful vision: to bring convenience and professionalism to clients when and where they need it most.
“I wanted to create something that met people where they are,” Rollie explains. “Whether it’s a busy professional who can’t make it to a notary office, a senior needing home assistance, or a real estate client finalizing an important deal — I wanted to be there to make that process seamless.”
Before launching her business, Rollie spent decades working within the legal community, developing a deep understanding of the precision and confidentiality required in handling sensitive documents. Certified through the National Notary Association for over 10 years, she saw firsthand the growing need for flexible, on-the-go notary and identity services — especially as the world transitioned toward more mobile and remote transactions.
Rollie Mobile Notary Services quickly grew to specialize in real estate signings, including refinance, purchase, and seller packages. Beyond real estate, Rollie expanded her services to include general notarizations and identity verification through IdentoGo, making her business a one-stop solution for individuals, law firms, and corporate clients alike.
But for Charniece, it’s not just about the documents — it’s about the people. “Every signing tells a story,” she says. “Someone buying their first home, finalizing estate plans, or starting a new business — I have the privilege of being a small part of those milestones.”
Known for her professionalism, reliability, and warm demeanor, Charniece has built lasting relationships throughout the metro area. Her reputation has made Rollie Mobile Notary Services a trusted name not only in Kansas City but across the surrounding communities.
As the business continues to grow, Charniece remains focused on her mission: to provide accurate, efficient, and compassionate service — one signature at a time.
“Faith, hard work, and consistency have carried me this far,” Rollie reflects. “And as long as there’s a need for trustworthy service, Rollie Mobile Notary will be there — ready to serve.”
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When I first started Rollie Mobile Notary Services, one of my biggest challenges was balancing my full-time responsibilities in the legal field while growing a new business from the ground up. “There were many late nights and early mornings,” she recalls. “I had to learn how to juggle my career, my clients, and my business — all without sacrificing quality.”
Another challenge came with building trust and visibility. The notary and signing industry is built on reputation, and as a new mobile provider, Rollie had to prove herself one client at a time. “At first, people didn’t know who I was or what mobile notary services really meant,” she explains. “I had to educate my community about the convenience and security of having a notary come directly to them.”
Then came the logistical and technological hurdles — setting up scheduling systems, learning new signing platforms, managing travel routes, and ensuring every signing met legal and compliance standards. “When you’re on the road from one appointment to the next, you have to stay organized and prepared for anything — from last-minute cancellations to internet issues,” she says with a laugh.
The COVID-19 pandemic also presented unexpected challenges. While demand for remote and mobile services increased, so did the precautions and responsibilities. “People still needed documents signed, but safety was the top priority,” Rollie says. “I had to adapt quickly, implementing sanitization protocols and contactless signing options.”
Through it all, Charniece leaned on her faith, perseverance, and strong work ethic. “There were moments I questioned if it was worth it,” “but I reminded myself why I started — to serve, to help, and to build something meaningful for my community.”
