Conversations with Ashley Pummill

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Pummill.

Hi Ashley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began my nursing career nearly 21 years ago, spending several years in the Emergency Room before transitioning to home health nursing after having my daughters. That phase taught me so many invaluable lessons. During my own struggle with chronic migraines, my neurologist introduced me to Botox treatments. While they helped, I experienced some cosmetic side effects that led me to explore aesthetic injections—and I quickly realized I had a passion for it. After becoming certified, I opened my first aesthetics practice in Clarksville, TN. In 2023, when my husband retired from the Army, we returned to our hometown of Sedalia, MO. I started small, with a one-room shop inside Bloom Beauty Bar, but shortly after, I was offered an opportunity to merge with MyMedSpa. MyMedSpa partnered and rebranded as Rejuvv Luxury Spa, which has since expanded to five locations: Sedalia, Marshall, Warrensburg, Clinton, and Overland Park. I love being able to boost peoples confidence and provide natural aesthetic treatments. I truly believe that aesthetic community is shifting to less is more and wanting the natural look.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Moving from Tennessee back to Missouri and starting all over has not been the easiest of roads but I would do it all over again.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an aesthetic nurse injector specializing in non-surgical facial enhancements and wellness treatments. I offer neurotoxin injections including Botox, Xeomin, and Daxxify, as well as dermal fillers to enhance and restore areas such as the lips, temples, cheeks, jawline, and chin. In addition to injectables, our practice provides IV hydration therapy, vitamin injections, medical weight loss programs, and advanced laser treatments—helping clients look and feel their best from the inside out.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
In high school, I was deeply involved in athletics—running track, playing softball, and even wrestling. I had a love for the outdoors, from horseback riding to hiking, and I was always motivated to push myself physically. As the first in my family to attend college, I was incredibly excited to pursue higher education. From an early age, I knew that nursing was the path I wanted to take, driven by a desire to help others and make a difference in their lives.
