Community Highlights: Meet Tracy Hoth of Simply Squared Away

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Hoth.

Hi Tracy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my career as a professional organizer over 16 years ago. Back then, I was a young mom with four little kids, simply trying to keep our home in order and my sanity intact. I never dreamed it would turn into a full-blown business, but word spread quickly, and soon I was helping others declutter their homes, find calm in the chaos, and create systems that made life easier.

As I worked with more clients, I realized something deeper was going on—getting organized wasn’t just about containers and color-coded files. It was about mindset, confidence, and clarity. That insight led me to become a certified life coach in 2018, combining the practical steps with the powerful inner work.

Now, I help other life coaches and online business owners organize their businesses—from their digital files and workflows to their time and thoughts. Through my coaching programs, podcast (The Organized Coach), and online courses, I’ve created a unique blend of structure and soul that helps entrepreneurs feel calm, confident, and in control of a business that now has organized foundations.

I believe organization is a skill that anyone can learn. And I’m so grateful I get to help others learn this skill and build the evidence to prove they can be, and are, organized.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not a smooth road—but one where I can look back and see the value in every bump.

One of my biggest challenges has been the inner battle of “it’s not happening fast enough.” As a naturally driven and organized person, I love checking boxes and seeing progress. But entrepreneurship doesn’t always work like that. There are seasons of incredible momentum and others where it feels like nothing is working—like I’m putting in all the effort and not seeing the return. That can be discouraging.

The emotional roller coaster of being an entrepreneur—the highs of a successful launch followed by the lows of self-doubt or slow growth—has stretched me in ways I never expected. I’ve had to learn how to separate my worth from my results, how to trust God’s timing over my own, and how to keep showing up even when things feel uncertain. Client wins and life changes have kept me going through those times. This is powerful, life-changing work.

But through all of it, I’ve grown stronger, more grounded, and more committed to the work I’m called to do. The journey has taught me patience, resilience, and the power of community—and (most days) I wouldn’t trade that for a shortcut.

As you know, we’re big fans of Simply Squared Away. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business is all about helping coaches and online business owners get organized—digitally, mentally, and operationally—so they can run their businesses with confidence and ease.

I specialize in turning chaos into clarity. Most of my clients come to me overwhelmed by digital clutter, scattered systems, and too many ideas. I guide them through a step-by-step process to organize their thoughts, clean up their digital files, streamline their time, and create repeatable processes that actually work.

What sets my brand apart is how I blend practical structure with coaching and mindset work. I’m not just giving clients a checklist—I’m helping them shift their identity into someone who feels calm, focused, and in control. I call it the Organized CEO identity. And it’s not about perfection—it’s about the peace and confidence that comes from putting actual, organized foundations in place.

I do this through coaching, courses, and my signature programs: Organized Coach Academy (for business systems) and Organized Life Academy (for home/life organization). I also host The Organized Coach Podcast, where I share strategies, interviews, and real-life insights to support entrepreneurs on their journey.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how often I hear, “I feel so much lighter,” or “I finally have a system that works for me,” or “You make it so simple!” That’s what it’s about—giving people the tools and confidence to run their businesses in a way that feels simple, sustainable, and aligned

What does success mean to you?
For me, success is living in alignment with my purpose and honoring the season I’m in—both in life and in business. It’s not about the numbers on a spreadsheet (though I love a good spreadsheet!). It’s about waking up excited to do meaningful work, having time and energy for my family, and being present with the people God has placed in my life.

I define success as serving well, staying grounded in my faith, and creating systems that give me peace—not pressure. It’s when my work is making a real difference in someone else’s life, and I’m able to show up fully without feeling burned out or scattered.
