Community Highlights: Meet Tiffany Wyatt Michelle Graf of Hope House Franklin County Christian Caring Center

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Wyatt Michelle Graf.

Hi Tiffany Wyatt , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hope House began in 1990 through the efforts of several local churches. Originally operating out of 2 rooms at a local church, Hope House has grown and moved twice over the years to our present location. Hope House is currently located at 205 W 17th St. Ottawa, KS 66067. The mission of Hope House has always been to provide food and clothing assistance to the residents of Franklin County.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Hope House has had generous support for community donors and local foundations. Without the support from local foundations, Hope House would be much more limited with what services we provide.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Hope House is a food pantry and clothing closet located in Franklin County Kansas. Hope House primarily provides supplemental food and clothing to its clients. In addition Hope House works closely with other county and city agencies to provide a full range of services to its clients including:
Utility Assistance
Fuel Vouchers
Emergency Aid

TEFAP* (Income Based) (Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program)

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Tiffany Wyatt- I grew up dealing with food/housing insecurity and it has helped me in my role at Hope House.

Michelle Graf- I watched my parents serve through our church and community and have always been involved with helping and serving others.
