Hi Shawnneice , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
In 2020, during the COVID lockdown, I started painting to pass the time. One day, I decided to post my work online, and to my surprise, people wanted to buy it! It was such an exciting moment, and it made me realize, I could do this. So, I started taking commission requests for custom artwork, and the more I painted, the more I fell in love with it. I thought, “Why not turn this into a business and share my passion with the world?” So, I dove in, showcasing my art at pop-up shops and local art shows. Along the way, I also launched my line of organic haircare, skincare, and body butter products. It’s been such a rewarding journey, and I’m thrilled to see everything come to life!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was finding my target audience and realizing that my products and art don’t resonate with everyone. It took a lot of self-reflection, but through staying true to myself and my vision, I was able to connect with the right people and find my audience.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is all about combining creativity with self-care in the most authentic way possible. I specialize in custom artwork (and I’m always happy to take commission requests!) as well as organic, handmade products like hair care, skincare, and body butter, all of which take a holistic approach to self-care. What sets me apart is my passion for quality and authenticity. Everything I create reflects my love for natural ingredients and my desire to inspire personal expression. I’m known for my vibrant, one-of-a-kind artwork and my dedication to using nourishing, organic ingredients that support wellness and balance. What I’m most proud of is how I’ve brought these two passions together into one brand. It’s so rewarding to see how my customers genuinely connect with my work, and I’m excited to keep growing and finding my tribe of like-minded individuals. What I want readers to know is that everything I offer is made with love and care from the art to the products. My mission is to inspire confidence, self-expression, and holistic self-care in everyone who experiences my brand!

What does success mean to you?
Success to me is being able to share my business with the world, connect with like-minded people, and stay true to myself. But the greatest feeling in the world is when someone says, “I love your work.” That genuine appreciation makes everything worthwhile and reminds me that I’m on the right path. It’s moments like that that truly define success for me.
