Community Highlights: Meet Sadi Sumpter of The Tarot Fairy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sadi Sumpter.

Hi Sadi, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I got intrigued by Astrology, Metaphysics and Occult studies when I woke up from my dream state and realized how many other tools were available to me. I remember being in a place where it felt as though I was just existing but I was never living in the present moment. Most of my choices and decisions were based off past matters and hurts. I felt as though a part of me was missing from my physical reality. I started expanding my mind and soul beyond the “normal” things that people instilled into me (religion, prayer and books).

In June of 2018, I made a conscious decision to wake my own inner being up and incorporate different techniques and tools that are beneficial to my Highest Self. Coming from a religious background, I always seen a routine with life in the lives of others around me; I did not want that for myself. It gets rocky on some days emotionally transitioning in my spiritual evolution but I would not trade my growth, love & wisdom I’ve gained for anything. I enjoy reading Tarot Cards, Human Design Charts, Natal Charts, Ancestral Communication and so forth. These are tools that make me happy to help others.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Converting from religion to spirituality has not been an easy road. I didn’t expect it be either. I know how judgmental people can be in the “religious” world so I knew what I would be facing. However, what I can say is that now that I am aware, alert and I study myself I have grown through my hardships. Each hardship I have experienced has only placed me in a better position to receive things of Highest Self. It physically drains you but emotionally, I have proper techniques to regain myself. Spiritually I am able to relate to multiple people on multiple different levels. If I didn’t expand, who would know me? Would I be writing this article today? No.

So these are things that make me realize that no matter my hardships one day, there will always be sun the next day. Learning to flow through whatever I am faced with has helped me to process my hardships in a much healthier way. So yes, I face hardships but look at me today, I am still here with a story of happiness even after that hardship.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The Tarot Fairy is my baby, my soul! I created this brand this year alongside my original brand Sweet Sadi’s Aromas that has been established since March 2019. I created both brands based on personal expansions I dealt with. In 2019 I grew beyond making products because I wanted to be an actual service to people. I wanted to know that people were being helped, healed and really that I was understanding them on a deeper level. I did four years in a mental health facility for a mistake I made growing up at the age of 14. Make a long story short, I was on a plethora of medications, incarcerated in a facility and I was only 14!!! I literally grew my own self up alone. I remember not being able to feed myself. I became a Nurse and I spiritually felt I was not helping people the way I needed to. I started doing digging on my Natal Birth Chart thanks to a mentor I had. I figured out my life in less than 14 days. I studied myself from multiple angles and did a lot of past-life research.

I discovered I was a doctor, into occult practice and did not have family. The reality of what I was living basically. I woke myself up and said I can change this. I do not have to be here. I started learning, researching and expanding my mind into different cultures. Life is all about expansion and that is exactly what I did. I combined everything I learned that was conducive to my growth and combined them all together. Not only am I growing but I am able to help others on multiple levels.

My services include tarot/ oracle card readings, smoke blends (astral, dream enhancing, relax me), spiritual e/courses, vent sessions, hoodoo services and metaphysical oils. I plan to expand beyond what I am offering now but I want to continue to perfect my current crafts and learn the needs of my tribe around me.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I have learned during this journey is to trust what you see, feel and experience. I tell people a lot of my hardships could have been prevented if I could have simply seen things for what they are, allowed myself to feel those emotions and experience in that moment. It’s as easy as life can get. Also, learning to connect but do not attach to situations and/or people because at any moment anything can happen and you should be mentally prepared for this in your spiritual journey.

You are growing and expanding. When you turn the light on inside your mind, remember all the creepers in the dark begin to scatter because they do not want to be seen. With that being said, when you begin to turn the light on inside your mind, trust yourself because that gut feeling, what you saw or what you experienced was for protection in a realm you are probably unaware of, trust that your Ancestors can see and hear things before you do so when they tell you something listen.
