Hi! I’m Rebecca.
I have been working in the business marketing world for almost 20 years.
It all started after I received my undergrad in Design Merchandising and then got my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. From there I started teaching business classes to high school students. Everything from HTML coding, to Computer skills to Photoshop and that is when my true love of marketing started.
After teaching I contracted work with several odds and ends jobs, leading me to Director of Marketing for a Title Company. I learned a lot there and as my love for online marketing grew, I decided it was time to go out on my own. In September 2018 I started RM Virtual Solutions and I have never looked back.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As the owner of RM Virtual Solutions, my journey hasn’t been without challenges. While COVID initially created opportunities—normalizing remote work and accelerating the need for virtual support—the pace of the digital world has continued to evolve at an overwhelming speed. Keeping up with constant platform changes, new technologies, and shifting client expectations has become increasingly demanding. At the same time, demonstrating clear ROI has grown more difficult, especially for clients who aren’t selling a specific product or service, where results are less tangible and longer-term. Despite these struggles, adaptability and resilience remain at the core of how I continue to serve and grow my business.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Adaptability is everything. What worked in 2018 doesn’t always work now. Platforms, algorithms, and client expectations change quickly, and staying flexible has been key to surviving and growing.
Social media is a long game. Real results come from consistency, strategy, and relationship-building—not quick wins or viral moments.
Not every client is the right fit. Saying yes to everything early on taught me the value of alignment, boundaries, and working with clients who understand the process and goals.
ROI looks different for every business. Success isn’t always immediate or directly tied to sales—especially for service-based brands. Education and expectation-setting are just as important as execution.
Systems save time and sanity. Processes, workflows, and tools are what allow creativity to thrive without burnout.
Your brand matters as much as your clients’. Investing in my own visibility, messaging, and credibility has been essential—not optional.
Burnout is real, and rest is productive. Hustle culture isn’t sustainable. Longevity comes from balance and boundaries.
