Community Highlights: Meet Nevaeh Lowen of 2 boujee Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nevaeh Lowen.

Hi Nevaeh, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sometimes I think about how I got to where I am today, and I realize this dream has been shaped by so many incredible people along the way. My dad opened so many doors for me while chasing his own career, giving me opportunities and experiences that helped shape the path I’m on today. Along the way, several Bassmaster photographers took me under their wings, shared their knowledge, encouraged me, and helped me find my place in this industry. Their guidance and belief in me have meant more than words could ever explain. Every opportunity, every lesson, and every person who has supported me has played a part in getting me here. I may be the one behind the camera today, but I know I didn’t get here alone. I’ll always be grateful for the people who helped open doors, showed me the way, and encouraged me to chase something of my own. This dream is mine, but the story of how I got here will always include the people who helped make it possible.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest obstacles I’ve faced while building 2 Boujee Photography is getting professional anglers to commit to signing on with me for an entire season. In the fishing industry, building trust and proving your value takes time, especially as a young photographer working to establish my name. Getting anglers to make that year-long commitment has been one of the most challenging parts of growing my business.

Over the last four years, though, I’ve seen a lot of improvement. What once felt overwhelming and stressful has gradually become easier as I’ve gained experience, built relationships, and grown more confident in my work. I’ve learned that building a successful business takes patience, consistency, and trust. It’s not just about taking great photos; it’s about showing anglers the value of having someone who is committed to capturing their season from beginning to end.

Although securing those year-long commitments is still a challenge, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and how much I’ve learned along the way. Every year has taught me something new, and I’ve become better at navigating the business side of photography while continuing to improve my craft. I’m excited to keep growing 2 Boujee Photography, strengthening relationships within the fishing industry, and showing people what I can bring to the table.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At 2 Boujee Photography, I specialize in professional fishing and sports photography, family portraits, and senior portraits. From capturing the excitement of Bassmaster Elite Series blastoffs and weigh-ins to preserving the special moments of families and celebrating seniors during an important chapter of their lives, my goal is to tell a story through every image I take.

My work in the fishing industry has given me the opportunity to work alongside professional anglers and several Bassmaster photographers, allowing me to grow my skills and turn my passion into a business of my own. I take pride in capturing the dedication, emotion, and unforgettable moments that make every story unique.

Whether I’m photographing a professional angler on the water, a senior celebrating their accomplishments, or a family making memories together, I strive to create timeless images that can be treasured for years to come. At 2 Boujee Photography, every session is an opportunity to capture something meaningful.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was fortunate to have both of my parents play such important roles in my life. My mom was a stay-at-home mom, so she was always around, always there, and a constant part of my everyday life. Having her there gave me a sense of comfort and support that I will always be grateful for. My dad introduced me to a world that would eventually become a huge part of my own story. As he chased his career in the fishing industry, he opened doors for me that I never could have imagined.

Growing up around the fishing industry allowed me to meet incredible people and experience things that helped shape who I am today. Several Bassmaster photographers took me under their wings, taught me along the way, and helped me discover my own passion for photography. Looking back, I can see how much my upbringing influenced the path I chose. My mom gave me the comfort of always having someone there, while my dad opened doors that helped me find my own way. Together, they played a huge part in the person I am today and the dream I am continuing to build through 2 Boujee Photography.
