Hi Kyndal, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi! My name is Kyndal, and I am the founder of K’s Auto & Boat Spa, established in June of 2025. As a female-Latina-owned detailing business, K’s Auto & Boat Spa was built from both passion and experience. I previously worked at multiple shops, where I developed my skills and discovered how much I truly loved the work and impact it had on customers. What stood out to me most was how something as simple as a clean ride could positively impact someone’s day. That realization inspired me to take a big leap and start my own business! Although I am still learning and growing every day, how to run my business, I truly love learning and continuously improving my skills and services. I founded K’s Auto & Boat Spa with the goal of providing high-quality detailing while also creating meaningful connections with customers. For me, this business is more than detailing; it’s about making a difference, building trust, and taking pride in serving my community.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes, there have been obstacles along the way. When I first started K’s Auto & Boat Spa, financial constraints were one of the biggest challenges. Starting with limited resources and little financial backing made things difficult, especially in the beginning when I had no established client base. There have been moments of uncertainty; however, those challenges have pushed me to work harder, stay consistent, and remain patient, as they continue to shape how I run my business today.
We’ve been impressed with K’s Auto & Boat Spa, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
K’s Auto & Boat Spa is a detailing business dedicated to delivering high-quality auto and boat cleaning services with care, precision, and pride. I specialize in interior and exterior detailing, with a strong focus on restoring those rides to a clean, refreshed condition that customers can truly feel good about. What sets K’s Auto & Boat Spa apart is the attention to detail and the personal connection I build with each customer. As a woman- and Latina- owned business, I take pride in representing my community and breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry. I am most proud of the trust I have earned from clients and the growth I have achieved so far. I want readers to know that K’s Auto & Boat Spa is more than just a detailing service; it’s a business built on passion, reliability, and the goal of making a positive impact in people’s lives through my work. What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5-10 years, I see the auto and boat detailing industry continuing to grow with a strong focus on quality, conveince and personalized services. Social media, especially platforms like TikTok, will play an even bigger role as more businesses move toward using video content to promote their work, share tranformations and connect with customers.
