Isaiah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I moved to Kansas City October 2018 after getting hired full-time with the Kansas City Chiefs as a stadium coordinator. It wasn’t until January 2019 that I joined 9Round🫡 kickboxing as a member because I wanted to mix up my exercise routine as I was going through my physical fitness journey Being at my highest weight of 270 pounds. I fell in love with the gym gym, I fell in love with the community and also the trainer who pushed me every day because they knew how invested I was in achieving my goals. Later that year I became a part-time trainer and it was the most exciting thing ever to be able to put on that red trainer shirt, and motivate people who also in my position as well that was looking for an outlet to get stronger physically and mentally in life. And in October 2023, I made the lead And purchased 9Round kickboxing so that I can make a lifelong impact on the independence Blue Springs Lee Summit in Kansas City area.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When it comes to entrepreneurship, there is no such thing as a full smooth paved road. Sure there are moments where you feel like you’re on cloud nine but the next day can look completely different. It took me three times actually to buy this gym as the stars couldn’t align several times. But God’s timing is impeccable and he knew when I would be ready to take the business over officially.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
During Covid, I created my brand PeelsReel, to be able to highlight and show the real B the real highlights of life through my lens, showcasing health wellness, fitness, exercise, fun food, adventure, entertainment, and talk about everything in between. In the surrounding Kansas City area, I am known for being the Pickleball guy as I took up the sport in September 2021 and I have my own business of teaching clinics lessons, skills and drills playing at the amateur level, traveling across the country and helping new facilities with their stores, what sent me apart from others is that I am the biggest extrovert and I care a lot about people in their morale in life. I’m most proud of sticking to what my brain is all about and that is about being real and authentic. I offer personal services ranging from personal training, speaking and engagement, events, corporate event, consultation, and all things fun!
