Community Highlights: Meet Ian Amor of MindSetEntrepreneur

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ian Amor.

Hi Ian, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a KC Native, born and raised, I love the city I enjoy it’s people and I want to give it a special boost. How I started began after my time with the military ended. I was back home, filled with anxiety, and didn’t have a set direction to go in. I ended up jumping from part-time to a part-time job, just waiting for opportunities and someone to notice the potential I saw in myself. I got tired of it and started my work as a digital entrepreneur. Slow going, so I still had to go with my part-time jobs. Eventually, I found a good day job that took a chance on my potential. From there, I was able to push my life forward properly, and I want to be able to push other people’s lives forward with the opportunities that came late for me.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely Not. Part-time job after part-time job. Anxiety and depression. Being borderline broke through and after college. Barely a social circle outside of the family for support or connections. All of the social norms I should have had after college I didn’t have.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about MindSetEntrepreneur?
My organization is called “MindSetEntrepeneur.” Founded in 2020 and based in Kansas City, we specialize in giving people a modern education. Setting people up with the knowledge and confidence to make the most out of their lives help those around them do the same. The biggest thing that sets us apart from others is that we put people first. Where many schools, businesses, or other organizations will only see someone as another potential source of income or paycheck bonus. We see people for who they are, where they are in life, and how they can begin growing in the direction they want to better themselves. I would love for the readers to understand that we offer an opportunity like no one else—an opportunity to make a difference for yourself and those
you hold close to you.

Can you talk to us about happiness and what makes you happy?
Seeing other people happy is one of the main things that make me happy, knowing their needs are being tended to. They can go after their passions and wants because they know that their needs are well met; there is no need for extra work hours, longer shifts, or trying for that work bonus or pay raise that may not come. They can handle everything the world throws at them and keep moving without issue.
