Today we’d like to introduce you to Golden Liles.

Hi Golden, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my journey seven years ago when I attended cosmetology school. There I honed my skills and excelled to master status, graduating with high accolades and certificates. Soon thereafter, I began my career. I’ve dedicated my life to becoming the best at what I do. I’m a natural hair specialist and a Certified Sisterlocks™ Consultant. Caring for natural hair is an art that requires extensive knowledge, passion and patience. I cater to every client’s individual need, crafting a unique plan of care to achieve optimal results. My goal as a stylist is to help you love your hair the way I do!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, I didn’t always know I would be a cosmetologist. I started braiding hair at age 11. I didn’t always have a passion for hair and at the time, I didn’t realize that this was the path I was going to take. It took till I was much older to notice the love I have for hair. Hair has the ability to change so much about yourself. It’s one of the first things that people notice about you. To be able to have someone trust you enough to go with whatever you think up is amazing. My journey with hair is just getting started. I’ve worked hard and have overcome so many obstacles. I open my salon this year. This is only the beginning.

We’ve been impressed with Goldielocs Natural Hair Care Salon, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Goldielocs Natural Hair Care Salon will be open in August of 2021 at 3100 Gillham Plaza Suite 125 Kansas City Missouri 64109. I specialize in naturally curly hair, locs, cuts, sister locks, color, extensions and braids. I have a strong passion for what I do. I want to help you bring life to your hair.
