Pete’s Pest Control was originally founded by Pete, who built a strong local reputation by doing things the right way- showing up, being honest, and genuinely helping people solve pest problems. In 2022, we had the opportunity to acquire the company because we believed deeply in the foundation Pete had created and saw the potential to thoughtfully grow it without losing what made it special.
Since taking ownership, the focus has been on building on that legacy by investing in our team, refining our processes, and expanding our services while maintaining the same customer-first mindset the company was built on. We’ve worked intentionally to modernize the business, strengthen our presence in the community, and create a company culture centered on trust, education, and long-term solutions. Today, Pete’s Pest Control continues to grow, but at its core, it’s still about delivering reliable service and being a partner people can count on.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like any growing business, the road hasn’t always been completely smooth. Transitioning ownership, scaling operations, and navigating the everyday challenges that come with growth all come with their own learning curves. That said, any obstacles we’ve faced have been met head-on through strong teamwork. Thanks to a highly passionate and invested group of office staff, technicians, and leadership, we’ve been able to problem-solve together, adapt quickly, and come out stronger on the other side. Our team’s commitment to one another and to our customers has made even the challenging moments opportunities for growth.

Pete’s Pest Control is a full-service pest & wildlife management company serving homes and businesses across greater Kansas City and St. Joseph.
