Community Highlights: Meet Chad Banks of Ninja Window Cleaning, LLC.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chad Banks.

Hi Chad, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ninja Window Cleaning was started when two crew leaders from another window cleaning company decided to venture out on their own in 2017. In mid-2024, Ninja Window Cleaning became solely owned by one of the original owners, Chad Banks. Now it’s more considered a family owned and operated small business with the help of Chad’s wife Josie and oldest son Kyng. Ninja Window Cleaning became the first window cleaning company in Lawrence, KS to receive one hundred 5 Star reviews on Google, gaining 132 real reviews to date.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The first 2 years were extremely difficult. It was a hurdle to score enough work to keep ahead of the bills. Going door-to-door with flyers, posting consistently on social media, paying for advertising, and more. At times, our families would hint that we should give up and get “real” jobs. But we stuck to it and it started to pay off by the third year. We have amassed such a reputation now that most of our business is by word of mouth. We have not had to pay for any advertising in years.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Ninja Window Cleaning offers residential and commercial window cleaning, gutter cleaning, solar panel cleaning, and pressure washing. We consider ourselves specialists in the cleaning of 100+ year old house windows. A large percentage of our work is done on antique windows and storm windows. At one time, we were one of the only window cleaning companies in the area that would take on these types of projects. Although, we take on small jobs up to large buildings in downtown Lawrence.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am an avid motorcyclist and I like to build custom motorcycles and electric bikes.
