Today we’d like to introduce you to Anne Wisdom.
Hi Anne, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
You know that moment when everything seems to come together and make sense? It’s like those popular posters from the 90s, where you had to stare at them in a certain way until the blurred, distorted shapes revealed a clear image. That’s exactly what I experienced after graduating from Kansas State University, while sitting in the admission office at Rockhurst University enrolling in my MBA program. My advisor asked if I wanted to choose a specialization for my MBA and suggested healthcare, based on my career background.
In high school, I spent summers working at a corporate office that managed outpatient radiology facilities. Little did I realize at the time that I was gaining valuable lessons—lessons I only recognized later when I was hired to oversee independent physician groups. That opportunity propelled my career into management at a young age.
In 2024, I had a few freelance opportunities that encouraged me to fully commit to my passion. This led me to start Business with Wisdom as a full-time endeavor.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Life presents challenges, and that’s all part of the journey. Starting a business often tests your insecurities, so having a plan to address these is crucial. Recognizing that difficult days are inevitable and understanding that you are just one meeting, one new connection, or one opportunity away from making a breakthrough can be motivating. A few key strategies I employ include maintaining a close circle of advisors who can offer support during challenging times. Remaining flexible with your plan in the initial years is essential, as is giving yourself grace when a pivot is necessary, which can be often. These approaches have helped me maintain positive daily routines while continuing to grow.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Are you managing your business, or is your business managing you? Perhaps you’re delegating tasks but not seeing the desired results. Do you attend meetings only to leave with a growing list of to-do’s? If so, you’ve found your new partner! Improving your business operations is my expertise.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Honestly, what contributes most to my success is the way my mind operates. I am a creative visionary who understands how to execute details effectively and mentor others to do the same. I have always had a strong aptitude for numbers and mathematics, evidenced by school awards and advanced coursework, which supports my understanding of formulas and revenue perspectives.
As a child, I was shy and initially struggled with reading comprehension in early elementary school. However, with the guidance of dedicated teachers and a supportive home environment, I was able to overcome these challenges through various learning techniques, which has shaped my logical thought process. Participating in extracurricular activities such as Girl Scouts and basketball provided me with valuable friendships and helped build the confidence I have today.
My creative side complements these strengths, allowing me to see the big picture, think innovatively, and consistently deliver results with a spirit of excellence.
