Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Self expression is at the base of most I do. With a slogan like “Customize your Character” my brand Surreal Styles aims to focus on outward self expression through fashion and hair styling, digital and physical customizations as well. In 2023 I officially started Surreal Styling but am still in the beginning stages of development.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not smooth. I struggled to find, follow, and take action toward my vision. I’m still in my early 20’s so the last five years have been mostly about my personal life and needs. Connecting back to my history and my why has helped me hold my vision.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I currently sell custom, thrifted or up-cycled clothes, glass decor, offer hair & fashion styling services and digital products. I specialize in locs, and event / wardrobe styling . I like to make pieces and create something that actually resonates with each customer.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I love spending time with loved ones, a good conversation, shopping, nature trails and social events . I am a people person with a special interest in clothes, music and nature.
