Check Out Tiffany Watts’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Watts.

Tiffany Watts

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
Hi, I’m Tiffany, a wedding content creator based in Kansas City, Missouri. I’m a mom of a vibrant teenage girl, not a wife yet (but I have a pretty fantastic girlfriend), and my love for romance, visual storytelling, and business led me to this work. I started my professional journey in 2014, creating content for Airbnbs all over Kansas City. Years later, in 2019, I discovered my passion for it as my best friend, and I launched and grew Kansas City’s first glamping village, Suite Tea. My creative focus is now on weddings, proposals, elopements, and creating content for business owners who make an impact.

Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Couples often wonder if I’m a replacement for their photographer or videographer. The truth is, we all fill different roles on their wedding day. Together, the photographer, videographer, and I form their media team. While I create the social media-worthy TikToks and Reels, the photographer captures the photos they hang in their home, and the videographer establishes the work of art they’ll play on their anniversary. We all work seamlessly together to capture each couple’s special day.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. What can you tell our readers who might need to be more familiar with what you do?
I handle social media for couples at their wedding so they don’t have to. I follow them around, documenting everything right when it happens. I capture the tears, the laughter, and the dance moves on my iPhone, and I transform them into social media-worthy TikToks and Reels. I also help couples tap into recent trends so that we can create different types of planned short-form content like bride transitions, the first look, dances, and whatever other types of TikToks they’ve wanted to recreate since the proposal.

On top of that, some couples want real-time days of posting. So I’m not just documenting the event; I’m creating and editing videos I post in their stories and share on their page. I edit quickly so I can take advantage of every moment. Although couples love my Instagram Takeover package, they want to look back over their videos and see the behind-the-scenes of their wedding day more. They want to know that when the night ends, my iPhone is filled with hundreds if not thousands of photos and videos of their big day that will always remind them of who they were, how they felt, and who they loved in this season of their life.

I want to create work with heart, purpose, and originality with couples who value the same things. To do that, I keep my creative process simple and vibe-driven. As soon as I connect with a new couple, I want to know 5 things right away: What’s the date? Where’s the wedding? What’s their love story? What’s the wedding day aesthetic and vibe? What wedding day TikTok’s have they been dying to create? We go over this during our introduction call, but our planning call is when we start to make magic. During planning, I focus on the couple’s wedding day vision and create customizable packages to align with their unique ideas. Once the plan is in place, we’re ready to go!

Do you have any big plans?
I launch ‘Post The Brand’ on February 1st for business owners who need organic video content that helps promote their brand. Whether they need behind-the-scenes footage, want to tap into trending videos, or want raw content where they have creative control over the finished product, I’ll be there to help. I’ll share more about this side of my business on my socials, so stay tuned.
