Today we’d like to introduce you to Ti’Ara Parker.

Hi Ti’Ara, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
The start of my real estate career began with an idea I put on a vision board seven years ago. Fast forward to 2017, when I was working in facilities management and needed a real estate license to get promoted.

I obtained my license in 2018 to advance in my corporate career. It wasn’t until 2020 that I stepped out on faith and started residential sales full time, I made that decision primarily so that I could be home with my children, and it has been the best decision I ever made.

In that timeframe, I did a lot of praying, studying real estate pioneers, shadowing people I could learn from, and surrounding myself with people that I knew would encourage me and have my back. It still trips me out how God strategically supported this journey by putting me in the right places at the right times.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting a brand new career in the middle of a pandemic had its challenges, the housing market was tough, being a realtor was nothing like I imagined, we were doing virtual tours because we weren’t allowed in certain residences.

It was tough to stay encouraged but I was told by my broker at the time that if I could make it in the middle of that kind of chaos I was going to be very successful when the dust settled. I had many people supporting and encouraging me.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a licensed realtor in the state of Missouri, and I service clients in all of the metro areas by providing top-tier customer service with a welcoming and relatable approach. I just simply help people achieve their real estate goals while keeping their best interests in mind.

Prior to now, I was in facilities management, leasing, commercial property management, and new residential sales.

What makes you happy?
My “Why” is my family which includes my fiance, children, and my mother, father, and sister. I know that I have responsibilities and a purpose greater than myself and it makes me happy to be able to fulfill that purpose by simply doing what I love.
