Check Out Tara Mosier’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tara Mosier.

Hi Tara, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have a Journalism degree from Kansas State University. I have almost 20 years of experience in the graphic design industry, including print design, layout, website design, branding, and marketing. I have worked in corporate, small agencies, and the university setting until starting my own business in 2018. While working for other agencies, I realized my target audience was other female entrepreneurs. The way to reach them better was to start my own business geared for small businesses and other female solopreneurs. I initially started with branding and then slowly started focusing on website design.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning your own business always has its ups and downs. There’s never a direct path as things are always changing and growing. The hardest part of owning your own business is doing everything design, bookkeeper, copywriter, marketing, etc. There are a lot of hats to wear at once.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m Tara, the brand stylist and website designer for Oregon Lane Studio. I create meaningful brands and websites for passionate entrepreneurs. My mission in design is to guide and support passionate entrepreneurs on a path to fulfilling branding that incorporates their unique story and reaches the people they seek to serve.

How do you define success?
Working for myself for the last 4 years has been a dream. I can have a successful business, be at home with my family, and have a flexible schedule. Also, helping other female entrepreneurs reach their own business goals.
