Hi Poe, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a big advocate for self-love and growth. I struggled a lot in my past with both, so being able to find art, writing, and my own voice have helped me develop a passion for voicing the voiceless overtime!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, not at all! There was trial and error with my styles for my work(s), as well as personal life experiences that made it difficult here and there.
For example, my fiancé I had at the time left me, but it inspired my first collection of works!
Then I got sober, which inspired my second.
I’m sure you can see the pattern forming!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in poetry and creative writing!
My two current passion projects are poetry books detailing healing from traumatic relationships and recovery. They should be released later on in the year!
I also edit novels, which is a huge passion of mine as well!
I feel like what sets me apart is that I don’t try to make pain “pretty”. I detail exactly how I felt during each moment, and I let my art and writing speak for itself.

Oh god, yes!
My friends and family were huge supporters in all of my creative outlets. A cousin of mine is who the healing book is dedicated too, actually!
As well as my lovely supports across my social media, they’re all amazing.
Not to mention my group members for my meetings.
If it weren’t for my support systems, I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today!
