Today we’d like to introduce you to Marcus Duncan.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started rapping even messing with anything music when i was a kid i wanna say around 5 , grew up all around kc was around ppl like fat tone and a bunch of other well known folks in kc as a child , as i reached a conscious age i had told myself it was time to really start working on this craft i always loved music and dancing and everything art and it found its way back into my heart after years of suppression, i used to go by lil marco and the voice in my head told me be different everybody is little and that’s the day i changed my name to greazyfromthemo, i was around 18 when that happened recognizing all the things ive been thru all the things ive seen I’ve been everywhere in kansas city our city is made of pain but made of love and mostly history everywhere you walk. The things you go through make you who you are most importantly thats why i am who i am.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No the road isnt smooth and wasnt smooth its still bumpy and im still overcoming challenges till this day i ran across allot of snakes or i should say i was around allot of snakes on my upcoming and just recently i had yo start cutting them off that that gut feeling you get is true , snakes love to see you fail people have took from me ate off my plate bit my hand it dont break me but it make me stronger worst part is when people do it completely behind yo back and cant face you like a true man or woman.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Artist /rapper /singer / hustler

Im known for music and my money making ability no matter what happens in life a smile lays upon my face and i keep my head high, i think I’m most proud of myself for always standing on what i say always being my true self and not letting what others think defy me. Thats what set me apart from the rest too i don’t see life like the rest i always feel as if I’m living in the one egg theory questions how the world doesn’t see the right and wrong as they lay it out to you but continues to deteriorate itself.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Yes , think and grow rich was a very good book , take what you will from it but take it with a heavy hand. Id also say youtube one of my favorite applications i never had to do like the rest and sit around and wait for anything because youtube was my go to that and the internet always has the answers for everything not that its always right but if you do the right research with the right sources you’ll find what you need always. CIA.Gov allot of hidden gems in there i love knowing about the past and all the secrets and knowledge that we don’t get publicly ,Or i should say that most don’t know to look for.
