Today we’d like to introduce you to Mandy Rochon.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my own fitness journey at 24, after having my son and carrying the baby weight that I honestly did not know how to lose. At the time, I thought feeling uncomfortable in my body and simply accepting that version of myself was just part of life. Through life, I found the gym and started learning on my own. I lost my first 10 pounds, and that small change was eye-opening it showed me I was capable of more than I had believed.
From there, I kept growing. I went on to lose over 40 pounds, became certified in nutrition, and stepped onstage for my first bodybuilding competition in 2016. What began as a personal transformation became a passion and purpose: helping women understand that mindset, nutrition, and resistance training can completely change not only how they look, but how they feel about themselves.
I want women to know that they are never too far gone, too busy, or too old to begin. Strength, confidence, and a healthier relationship with food can be built at any stage of life.
Outside of coaching, I am equally passionate about entrepreneurship and business development. I work alongside my husband in growing Rochon Mortgage Team, where I focus on business development, marketing, and building relationships within our community. Balancing multiple businesses, family, coaching, and my own goals has shown me that women do not have to choose just one version of themselves. We can be driven, nurturing, strong, ambitious, and still continue to evolve.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. My own journey began with weight gain and self-esteem struggles, and even after I changed physically, I still had to do the deeper work of changing how I saw myself. I have had seasons where I questioned my identity, my confidence, and whether I was truly ready to coach and lead other women.
One of the hardest chapters has been wanting to grow my family and walking through IVF. Experiencing that process and facing failed attempts brought a level of heartbreak and uncertainty I was not prepared for. It forced me to slow down, grieve the vision I had held so tightly, and learn how to accept and appreciate my family exactly as it is today.
Those struggles have shaped the way I coach and show up for women. I understand that transformation is not only about a number on the scale or a physical goal. Sometimes it is about rebuilding confidence, letting go of expectations, and learning to find strength in a season you did not choose.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My lifestyle blends fitness, coaching, entrepreneurship, and meaningful conversations with women. As a competitive bikini athlete and health and fitness coach, I live out the habits I teach resistance training, balanced nutrition, consistency, and a strong mindset. I help women build confidence and feel strong in their bodies at every stage of life, whether their goal is fat loss, rebuilding after a hard season, or stepping onstage.
I also co-host the *Bikinis After Babies* podcast, where we have honest conversations about fitness, motherhood, competition, mindset, and navigating the different seasons of being a woman.
Outside of fitness, I work in business development and marketing for Rochon Mortgage Team, helping build relationships and grow our presence in the community. Across all of these roles, I love connecting with people, creating opportunities, and helping women believe in what is possible for their lives.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
Gillian Hughes is the head coach of the team I coach on Momshell Method fitness as well as my Cohost of Bikinis After Babies.
My husband Aaron Rochon, together for 12 years and always supporting every dream and goal I have.
