Check Out Loni Louise Bernard’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Loni Louise Bernard.

Hi Loni Louise, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story

Namaste! I am just a girl finding her way in the world. I find spirituality, art, music, nature and life awe-inspiring. I have learned to constantly follow my intuition.  I am very driven and goal oriented with everything I do.  While getting my Philosophy degree at Missouri State University, I was guided to get a job at a bookstore and quit my job at the cosmetic counter of a department store. It felt wrong selling expensive face creams. I wanted to work somewhere where I could expand my knowledge so I was drawn to bookstores. Back then before the internet, there were only a few places that exposed one to many topics, a bookstore was one place. I was drawn to metaphysical, world religion, philosophy and art books. Finding and reading Autobiography of a Yogi was the first book that cracked me open. I remained in the book business for over 20 years.

When Borders closed and I was moved to get my real estate license since my husband and I are real estate investors.  I had a team at a large real estate company then decided to start my own real estate and property management brokerage, Lotus Key Homes LLC. Five years ago I started a non-profit, Clean KC, to help clean and beautify the greater Kansas City area. About that same time my husband and I built a home on our 50 acres just east of Kansas City. We found that this the land was sacred and magical and wanted to share it with others. It is called Milo Farm. We have trails, ponds, portals, a zen garden, campsites, bunkhouse, art studio, hippie trailer, a lodge and more fun things! It’s open for booking spiritual retreats and nightly stays. Meditating in the nature of Milo Farm is powerful!  My next exciting venture has been creating this cool new Philosopher game. It was like it was channeled to me. The concept of the Philosopher game is to inspire deep meaningful conversations to help evolve humanity, to honor everyone’s truth and show that winning is not what is really important. We are in the middle of a huge leap of human consciousness, even games are evolving. I worked hard on the concept of the game, the design and got it printed. I ran a Kickstarter campaign for the game. I created started Spiral 55 Games LLC to be the parent company for the Philosopher game and for the oracle cards I am designing.  So I have so many things going on, but life is good! I’m trying to do my part to make the world a better place.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

I’m usually a pretty good at manifesting what I need. If I come to a roadblock and I can’t work it out within three tries, I feel it’s not meant to be. But there are always struggles. With Spiral 55 Games, I didn’t quite make my Kickstarter goal, but I did learn so much.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

All my businesses are centered around compassion, connection and spirituality. I follow my heart, intuition and where my energy lies with each decision in my life. People think of me as a busy hippie!

I am living my dream life. Being able to create and give back. And live on beautiful land surrounded by nature. I listen to the trees, the animals, the wind. They all have stories to tell.

I’m proud that the land of Milo Farm is happy we are stewards of it. I am proud of the Philosopher game that inspires everyone that plays it. I hope what I do will impact the world positively.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?

Write your dreams down. Visualize them. Then take action. Use the “3 strikes” formula and don’t get frustrated. Life is what you make it. Try to keep Keep your thoughts positive. Our world is created by our thoughts. If we can train our mind we can evolve our consciousness.
