Today we’d like to introduce you to Electra Williams.

Hi Electra, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I always thought of modeling since I was little, not knowing I would grow up and pursue it later in life. Although if someone had told me at 14, I’d be getting these opportunities; I definitely wouldn’t believe them. Over the last couple of years I’ve done creative shoots with friends but up until the end of 2022, I decided I wanted to get into modeling. I started asking people I knew about the industry. I joined some local Kansas City model/photography pages and found opportunities for myself there. I have made new friends and met many new people, models & photographers. I’ve now been in 4 fashion shows since the beginning of January. I’ve gotten to work with various brands, rescue animals, product reviews and promotions, and many more photo shoots. I only hope to work & meet many more models/creatives!

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
I feel like I’ve always had bumps in the road. I went into modeling not knowing anything; it felt the odds were against me. It’s crazy what you can accomplish if you do believe in yourself and try. One person’s No could be someone else’s Yes.

Most people always ask if this is my real name. It is! Yes, I love it. I am a petite tattoo model right here from Kansas City! I am most known for my unique style and tattoos. I’ve always liked being different. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Strange Music over a couple of years as a background actress and stunt performer! I had the opportunity to be a ring girl for the golden gloves boxing tournament! I’ve also had 9 publications since the beginning of January. I hope you all get to see more individuality and creativity from me!

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
I’ve been dealt both sides. I think it depends on how you handle it. We all get knocked down; how you get back up matters.
