Today we’d like to introduce you to Eddie Haith
Hi Eddie , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey with ALONECO began in high school, but the idea had been with me long before that. I was always the kid with a laptop at lunch, creating designs. Back in middle school, I made most of the Snapchat geofilters for my school.
ALONECO started from realizing I get the most done when I’m working alone, but I also deeply value the support of friends and family. The name comes from ALONE, which stands for living a life with no excuses, and CO, which represents the company of others.
What started as a personal project during late-night design sessions has grown into a brand that shares my approach to life and work. Our mission is to empower people to chase their dreams with determination and self-reliance while appreciating the support around them.
We just launched our website aloneco.com, where you can explore our first collection of fourteen tees. Be sure to follow us on Instagram at @alifeofnoexcuses and @eddiehaith to stay updated.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest challenges is staying creative and coming up with designs that really connect with people. Some days ideas flow easily, but other times creative blocks make things frustrating and exhausting.
Designing is a process of trial and error. Not every idea works out the way you picture it, and sometimes what looks good on paper doesn’t translate well in production. It takes patience and flexibility to keep refining until it feels right.
Balancing creativity with the business side has also been tough. Managing marketing, customer experience, inventory, and deadlines alongside designing is a lot to handle. Both sides are important for growing the brand.
I’ve learned the value of taking creative breaks. The pressure to keep producing is real, but stepping back helps avoid burnout and open leads to better ideas.
The journey has had ups and downs, but every challenge has taught me something. Those lessons have helped me grow both creatively and professionally, and I’m grateful for the experience.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the founder and creative force behind ALONECO, a brand built around the idea of “A Life Of No Excuses.” What began as a personal project has grown into something bigger, a brand with a message that blends design, purpose, and personal growth.
My background in photography and graphic design shapes ALONECO’s visual identity, but it’s more than just clothing. It stands for a mindset that balances self-reliance with the strength of community, encouraging people to stay committed and express themselves confidently.
What I’m most proud of is how the brand has grown from a high school idea into a message that resonates with people from all walks of life. Creating something meaningful and inspiring with my skills is what drives me every day.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has played an interesting role in both my life and business. Sometimes good luck opened doors, like meeting the right people at the right time or finding resources that helped ALONECO grow. But I have also faced bad luck with setbacks and challenges that felt tough to overcome.
I have learned that luck is only part of the story. How you handle the ups and downs matters much more. The hard times taught me to be resilient, think creatively, and stay focused on my goals. The good moments reminded me to be grateful and seize every opportunity.
