Vincent Guerra Jr shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Vincent, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I Work out for an hour, shower and catch up on emails from the previous evening.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Vincent Guerra, I am an Entrepreneur and family man based in the Kansas city area. By the age of 30 I had made my first million dollars in a single year through hard work, discipline, persistence and a keen eye for opportunity.
I have been part of many investment opportunities, including a high end Rental car company here in Kansas city.
Today, at the age of 35. I am the owner and founder of All In Property Ventures, a real estate company specializing in buy-and-hold investments and rehab flips, helping revitalize neighborhoods and creating lasting value.
In Addition to real estate Ventures, I am also part owner in KC Disposal, a respected local trash company. I focus on the commercial sales and building long term client relationships.
Beyond Business, I am dedicated to my greatest priorities-my wife, my two children and three dogs. My Journey is fueled by a commitment to growth, community impact, and creating a legacy that blends business success with family values.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child I thought the only way to be successful was to either be born into it or to be in Professional sports, to be a doctor, lawyer ETC.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has taught me these main principles:
Perspective- When you have been through real pain, failure and loss, it reshapes how you view the world. Little inconveniences do not seem like big problems anymore.
Resilience- Suffering can pressure test you. Suffering forces you to keep moving forward when there is no guarantee of reward.
Empathy- Experiencing struggle and failure helps humanize people in a way that I feel success can not.
Self awareness- You truly find out who you are, your limits, values, and what actually matters when you don’t have the noise of comfort and praise.
Gratitude- Suffering allows you to appreciate even the smallest wins and moments of peace than what success does.
Resourcefulness- Being able to adapt and solve problems under pressure.
Success can teach you how to win, but suffering teaches you how to endure through your trials and tribulations until you win.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
I believe a cultural value worth protecting would be Integrity.
Being the backbone of trust in families, businesses, and societies across the world, without it laws would just be words, promises are empty and relationships would collapse under even the smallest suspicion.
Everything would unravel without Integrity.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I went for it, That I gave it everything I had, I came from nothing and never settled for NO. I set out to accomplish goals and that I did just that. I showed my kids that when you have an idea or goal you feel strong about, no one but yourself can keep you from obtaining it.
