An Inspired Chat with Noelle Stoffel of Crossroads Kansas City

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Noelle Stoffel. Check out our conversation below.

Noelle, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Beyond my love for painting, travel stirs my soul—those exhilarating adventures, breathtaking views, trying new food, and the pleasure of observing other cultures and life.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Noelle Stoffel—an artist whose brush has been dancing across canvas since childhood. I create custom paintings that breathe uniqueness into spaces, whether for businesses or individuals. You’ll find my work in galleries and stores, restaurants, homes and businesses throughout the United States, Mexico, Cayman Islands or visit my studio nestled in the heart of the crossroads district.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Trust—when it fractures, so do our bonds. Yet connection remains the golden thread that mends and preserves our relationships. It’s hard to gain back trust, but it’s not that hard to connect to someone if one really puts in the effort. For example, I’ve discovered that shared language isn’t even necessary when art bridges the gap between souls. Teaching across borders, I’ve witnessed the magic unfold: faces lighting up, smiles blooming after creation—a universal beauty that transcends words. When one tries, common ground can be found with most anyone. Connection is everything.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self that life has so many adventures waiting for you to explore! Continue doing what you love most, trust yourself and follow your heart as your passion for art will guide you to find love, create a business, and have meaningful relationships with people.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
My art is my public face—adorning walls at MCI airport, Gilda’s restaurant, American Century, even Homeland Security. You’ll find pieces in hospitals and banks, each one a necessary extension of myself into the world. I cherish human connection, yet beneath this artistic presence lies a quieter soul—reserved, sometimes shy, but always creating.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?

Most people walk through life misunderstood, afraid to reveal their true colors and not live life to the fullest. They might blend with the crowd, while those who dare to stand apart often face rejection. I cherish the slow unfolding of someone’s story, finding their inner self, opening space for their authenticity to emerge—a vulnerable act of courage in a world that rewards conformity.
