Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Thomas.

Hi Lauren, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story starts with my love of fashion, modeling and wanting to creatively showcase visual art with photoshoots and styling.

I started out watching fashion shows on the style network and wanting be there, wanting to be on that stage in the audience behind those curtains, styling modeling directing I truly didn’t care what I was doing I wanted to be THERE. The lights, the people, the music and the confidence those women and men had was so inspiring.

Starting out working In retail and making my way up to a visual merchandiser, After years of working for others and touching on bits and pieces the bigger picture, I decided to take a leap out on faith and make my own way. My brand Leaux & Behold.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Not at all lol let’s start with running a business isn’t for the weak and running one by yourself definitely doesn’t come easily. I literally do everything from web design, styling, merchandising, creative directing, marketing… the list goes on. Outside of that, I’m a mom of three and wife so life can get hectic.

Also, outside of day to day life the whole pandemic has definitely tried my brand, transitioning from statement apparel to now including lounge/ basics was so not me but fit with the current ways of the world.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an online boutique owner, I’m known for selling fashion-forward statement clothing. I’m most proud of my photoshoots and creative content. I love to draw inspiration from music, people, nostalgia anything that can create a vibe for my girls (my customers)

What sets me apart from my brand is that I love to bring the lifestyle of my items to life, if it’s a vacation collection… we’re shooting photos on location.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I love being busy and I love giving good customer service so if my hard work goes towards my brand Leaux and Behold and my customers notice and are happy and living great reviews checking in anticipating new arrivals or next drop, that’s what excites me and makes me happy.
