What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?

We think this is an essential question because so often there is a disconnect between what matters to us and what the world thinks.  We hope these conversations help more people open up about what truly matters to them – regardless of how visible it might be on the outside.

What I’m most proud of building is the part nobody sees. The business behind my production company. I actually started by accident. I bought a camera to record YouTube gaming videos, but it only shot photos, so I figured I’d learn photography. The hardest part in the beginning wasn’t even learning how to shoot. The Hive

We are Middle-Stage made fun and we are proud of building a community where women can connect and build community. There is a ton of work that goes on behind the scenes to create all of the social, educational, travel and service opportunities for our members. Read more>>

Melissa Houston

The legacy of my family tree, and all the hurtles of entrepreneurship that I’ve faced. It’s truly something that evolves with time, and there are so many chapters. Recently my father passed away, and with that left a large amount of land and a home for us in a trust. He and his brother ran a cattle ranch with many smaller income streams. Read more>>
