Today we’d like to introduce you to Dallas Uhrich.
Hi Dallas, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been in the professional residential painting field for nearly 25 years. I started working for local painting companies around the Lawrence and Kansas City area. Eventually, I sought out those that focused on attention to detail and offered those services that exceed the average company. I founded this company on those traits. We’ve been around about four years and are continuously growing and evolving into a reliable company that is a mainstay in the community. We strive to be among the small percentage that stands out among the rest. Our commitment to building relationships and offering the best we are able to provide are the foundations from which we were founded.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have definitely been obstacles as to be expected with running any business, especially starting a new one. The most difficult aspect has absolutely been finding a solid crew. I’ve heard the same from fellow entrepreneurs. However, you find out the reality of this first hand once in the process of doing it yourself. There are many others that occur along the way such as scheduling, managing the crew, organization and planning, and taking on different roles as the “lead”. Overall, switching roles from laborer to manager has truly been an eye opener on the ins and outs of running a successful business.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’d say that one of my most predominant traits is my meticulous nature. I tend to be very detail-focused in all that I do. This lends itself very well to my specific career path and the clientele that seeks out our company. I have always had an appreciation for a high quality of service and products. This translates into exactly that as the process lays out for any project. We tend to offer things that most companies don’t in hopes that we gain the same appreciation that we have. We are committed to going the extra mile and making sure that it shows in everything we do. We try to exceed expectations in an effort to be viewed as exceptional.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
There isn’t anything specific that comes to mind as there are too many to choose from. I will say that anything that spurred my artistic side stands out more than the others.
