Today we’d like to introduce you to Shauna Ward.
Hi Shauna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have always loved design but never thought of it as a career option. That is until we renovated our home in 2019, and I took on the role of GC and Designer. I learned a lot during those six months about the home renovation process, and I wanted to help others!
I was a pharmaceutical sales representative most of my career, but I took the leap of faith in October of 2020 to run Shauna Ward Interiors full time.
I focus primarily on home renovations and new builds. I do Design and Project Management. I love helping people fall in love with their homes again and making the process as smooth as possible!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a struggle at times to find the right people to do the work.
I learned early on that I need to really vet people out before I put my name behind them.
Now I have a great team I trust!
I have also learned a lot about what types of jobs I love and how to best utilize my skills to help my clients.

I offer Design and project management services for home renovations. As a home reno consultant, I connect my clients with my trusted partners!
I believe my past experience in the corporate world sets me apart. I have my creative side, but I also understand the importance of good follow-up and time management.
I also offer a unique service in that I can do both the design and project management.
I am proud of how far I have come in 10 months. I love how many client’s homes I have touched and the people I have met. I am excited to see where things go from here!
What’s next?
I am looking to grow my team so that I can take on more projects at a time.
However, I believe in quality over quantity, so I am wanting to be thoughtful with these decisions.
I am also starting a backyard renovation at my home. I am hoping through this experience, I can learn and help more clients with their outdoor spaces!
