Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Wager.
Hi Rachel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have always loved being creative. Something about the art of photography intrigued me so I started to do it just a bit. When I got my professional camera in 2018 everything changed. It became more than a hobby for me.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing is ever a smooth road. Photography definable has it’s ups and downs. You just have to keep pushing through them. Not every photo is going to be liked by others. Everyone has different tastes when it comes to fine art.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I love doing fine art photography. Think of canvas, metal prints, regular prints, etc. Things that can be hung in homes, offices, etc. I will do anything to get the shot I picture in my head to reflect what is on the camera screen.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a shy, quiet kid who always got their homework done. I definitely never needed to be told to get any schoolwork done. I also remember hanging out with my friends a lot too. I kept my group small. I still do!
