Today we’d like to introduce you to Dion Williams.
Hi Dion, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started out in the insurance business in 2001 as a Farmers insurance agent. I eventually broke away from the captive model and became a broker in 2004, Williams Insurance agency was born. I had a passion for helping families and businesses shop with multiple carriers to get a unique policy.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a roller coaster with good highs and some challenging lows. But with loyal customers, I have been able to weather the storms.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
The insurance industry is broken up into multiple categories like Property and casualty, life and health, and financial products. As the agency owner, I wear multiple hats and have the licenses in all categories. I am the go to guy depending on what the client is looking for. I mostly like writing life and annuities, I am most proud of helping people in claim situations. My integrity sets me apart from others, I am transparent with my advice and recommendations to benefit my clients.
How do you define success?
Being able to deliver on my word and sustain my reputation over all these years. (world-class customer service)
