Hello, The Purp Studio; so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
The Purp Studio was started by a collective group of creatives, Nikky T, Anderson Knight, and Cyfy. As creatives in the music industry, we understand the passion and determination it takes to be an artist. We wanted to create a space for artists, producers, engineers, musicians, and songwriters to experience and develop their craft while enjoying their time. The Purp Studio is a recording studio that, like music, brings people together and welcomes all.
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The Purp Studio has had many investors and owners. With that being said, there have been many inconsistencies in the approach to business strategy and constant changes to the studio overall. Like the entertainment industry, we have learned to change and adapt. That said, our team, who has taken over, has worked hard to execute our goals and to maintain a constant business strategy. We want to build a name and brand for our studio that stands solid for many years to come. The hardest part about being a new business has been building our clientele, visibility and brand awareness. We are continuously working on many ways The Purp Studio can make a mark in the entertainment industry as well as within our community. We are forever grateful to all of our clients who have grown with us and to our new clients who have entrusted us to bring their vision to life. We are very excited to keep developing our client’s talent and discovering all of the new talent that walks through our door!

The Purp Studio is a recording studio in the heart of Hollywood. Our creative space offers services such as audio recording, production, mixing and mastering, songwriting, and vocal production. What sets us apart from other recording studios is that we are a small boutique studio that cares about the needs of each and every client. We like to see our clients succeed and give them the tools to do so. You are not just a number to us; you are a person, and we are so proud and grateful to be a small part of your journey. Can you share something surprising about yourself?
The Purp Studio is co-owned by three creative collectives. The original owner Anderson Knight, a producer, engineer, songwriter, and artist. The second co-owner is Nikky T, a singer, songwriter, dancer, content creator, and entrepreneur. The third co-owner is Cyfy; he is a musician that plays the drums, keys, and bass, as well as, is a producer and engineer. All 3 of us have incredible assets and attributes that make for a great team. We play on each of our strengths, which makes for a successful team and business.
