Check Out Michael Harris’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Harris.

Hi Michael, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
My story starts when I found the video game NFL Madden. Just like any other kid at the time I enjoy running up the score and passing a lot. But that got boring really quick. So, I wanted to challenge myself. I started to take teams and completely tear them down just to build them back up. That’s how I found my love for rebuilds and following the process of NFL GMs and why they do what they do. Once I found confidence in my ability, I started my YouTube I’ve been making content on and off for about 8 years. Uploading videos of my opinion on the NFL is so much fun and exciting.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I haven’t had too many obstacles. But my biggest challenge is consistency. YouTube is a place of constant consistency if you don’t keep uploading you soon get lost in the algorithm. So, finding the balance between life and YouTube has been my biggest challenge so far.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My YouTube channel is center around talking about the NFL. But I mostly talk about things from a GM perspective. The one thing that this channel has done for me is allowed me to grow and step outside of my bubble. I took a trip in 2019 to the NFL Hall of Fame by myself. If it wasn’t for my YouTube channel I don’t know if I would have had the courage to do so. I would have to say my growth in front of a camera would be the one thing that I’m proud of. I try to be different from other YouTube channels by telling things from my point of view and not what I see on TV. But my footballology twist on things.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
To be honest, my mom beat me in Madden she taught me. That it’s all fun and games while you’re winning but to keep that same attitude when you start to lose. No one likes a sore loser.
