Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Ambriz.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
Anaphora Designs started as a journey, a story, and a dream. In 2018 my family purchased a wedding venue in Lowell, and it all began there! Brides would ask me to coordinate their weddings, and then that grew to design florals.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been fairly smooth?
Transitioning from a full-time banker of 25 years to the wedding world was an adventure! There were many opportunities to learn and grow, learning a new language.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
We are inspired by God, Love, and Cultura (not a typo, I am Latina, and I love to incorporate my culture into my business!). We are in an industry of service, serving with purpose, sophistication, fresh designs, and unique flower combinations. We love, love! I love meeting people and getting to know them. More often than not, we become family! We celebrate birthdays and even Holidays together! Our team puts in all their heart and talent for every event, which sets us apart. We have the knowledge and experience of planning, designing, and executing over a hundred events, making them all unique, like the couples we celebrate. It has been so fulfilling to see Anaphora Designs grow from my daughter, Hailey, and me to a team of 5!

What do you think about happiness?
Love makes me happy, and flowers! To be able to witness love and marriage being celebrated is such a light in our world today. And flowers are everything to me. They have healed me, and I feel like I pour myself into each arrangement I make. They are a natural and beautiful gift that God has given us, and I get to create with them! We use flowers to celebrate events throughout our life, and they make everyone smile!
