Community Highlights: Meet Marcus Taylor of Taylor Details LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marcus Taylor.

Hi Marcus, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
When I was 26, I started my music career. It took off fast, so I eventually started a record label, Da Biznizz Records, in 2018. It took much performing at Free shows and competitions to get where I am now. I recently merged with Empire and have a worldwide distribution agreement. S/O to Erinn Stacie, Waleed Coyote, and Ghazi for the opportunity. We have a lot on the table up and coming; watch.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road for Cuzz Cuzz. Especially coming from Kansas City, Missouri, you must be tough and solid for survival. But overall, I’m glad I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, because it showed me how to become a survivor, entrepreneur, and vision to see through the real and the fake. I love my town—KC, baby.

Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I also started Taylor Details LLC, a mobile car/boat/home detailing business, in 2022. This career has been lucrative, and I have 5 stars on Google. We also offer services like headlight restoration, animal hair removal, steaming carpets, etc. The work done makes your vehicle/home look and smell better than when you bought it. What sets me apart is I get the job done quickly. I come to you and don’t use many strong chemicals.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to own everything from your music to your very own business/business. Save money, have bankroll management, and build credit and business credit. Spend time with your loved ones before it’s too late.
