Community Highlights: Meet De’Vonta Brown of Brown Credit Solutions

Today we’d like to introduce you to De’Vonta Brown.

Hi De’Vonta, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I’m De’Vonta but you can call me Vonta. I’m From Birmingham, Alabama. I would like to give thanks to my family, friends, clients, and the man above without them my business wouldn’t be flourishing as it is. So Thanks!

I went to the military at the age of 17, I ended up getting stationed in Germany knowing nothing about credit. I was getting credit cards, cars, and loans just living my best life not using them to better myself or make any money. I end up putting myself in a hole. I didn’t get into fixing credit until almost 5 years later.

I know you were probably wondering how did it all begin. Like many other credit repair owners, it started with me paying someone $2,250 to fix my credit and saw no changes for over a year. The money that I wasted and saw no results was my motivation to get started. I spent some more money, took a leap of faith, and enrolled in this class to learn about business and credit. I was my own FIRST client and got tremendous results. I’ve tried numerous agencies and credit people just like a lot of credit-challenged people might have. Until I wasn’t getting the desired results I wanted. At the time I was working a full-time job in Law Enforcement while being a full-time college student, but I still made time to research and study credit and study credit laws. In the beginning, I had test clients and charged them nothing and got results.

This is what brought me to start my very own repair business to help others who were or may encounter similar situations. All we ever want is an excellent credit score and to live the American Dream! I’m an Army Veteran, and all I’ve ever done is service, so having my credit repair business I strive to serve and change lives!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It feels as if it’s just the beginning. But the road hasn’t been easy as to I work Full time in law enforcement, I was still in college pursuing my degree once my business began to take off. I’ve had people tell me a plethora of times that I wasn’t going to make it in life and that whatever particular thing I was doing wasn’t for me. I’ve even had people that I considered friends, significant others, etc, say that I was trying to do too much due to my working and also starting a business. But I’m a firm believer in “If you play small, you stay small.” It’s ok to want more, do more, and be more! But we as humans are so content with our lives. I asked god for overflow and now I have over 200 active clients that are getting results and I’m thankful.

Remember if people don’t believe in you they gave you TWO wonderful opportunities. One is your own motivation, and Two is your own teacher. You became your own motivation because they didn’t motivate or support you. And you became your own teacher because you taught them and yourself to never underestimate a person or judge a person by their past sometimes flowers grow from the same spots weeds once sprouted.

As you know, we’re big fans of Brown Credit Solutions. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Here at Brown Credit Solutions, my team and I specialize in the legal removal of any negative, inaccurate, outdated, unverifiable, questionable, and fraudulent accounts that are hindering your score. I just changed to new software and it helps my team and me deliver better results which I am very proud of. I also teach and give tips on how to maintain good credit after we have fixed it. My clients come to me with their goals and we sit down and come up with a realistic game plan. I always tell them I underpromise and overdeliver meaning I’m not going to promise you this but instead I just show them and give it. I now serve over 200 hundred individuals around the states that have credit issues, I’m bonded in all the states that require bonds, but most of all I love being able to help and I love seeing my clients happy once they reach their goals!

I also wrote an E-book on credit for those that can’t afford my services. I provided the information, all they have to do is implement it.

We’d love to hear what you think about risk-taking.
I’m a firm believer in timing is everything. If I took the leap of faith and took the risk I believed that it was for me. “In a world that’s changing so quickly, the biggest risk you can take is not taking any risk.” I look at every decision that I have made in my life from a reward perspective and not from a risk perspective. In starting my credit repair business I utilized my personal money with no guarantee that I was going to receive an ROI. I have now made more money this year than I have made ever in life and I haven’t looked back since. Taking risks is the way to create opportunity and progress.

If you take a risk and it doesn’t work in your favor and got denied. Just believe that you didn’t get the approval because God wanted you to go bigger and that you were settling.

This is your sign to do it scared, do it faithfully, just DO IT!
