Meet Hannah Stark of Stark Skin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Stark.

Hi Hannah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been interested in hair removal and skincare since my early teens. I loved getting Peels and Microderms as soon as I was old enough to be able to afford them myself. I quickly enrolled in Esthetics school (once I realized what an esthetician was) and graduated in 2013! I worked for a couple of businesses before realizing that I was ready to start my own business and to be able to have full control. I’ve now owned my own business for almost five years!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t think anyone can prepare you for the stress and pressure of owning your own business. Being the one solely responsible for a business can be difficult and lonely at times, but the hard times have definitely made me a stronger person. Since starting my business, I have gotten married and now have three beautiful children. I’d say I’ve gotten pretty good at juggling being a business owner, wife and mom.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Stark Skin?
I have specialized in Brazilian waxes for about eight years and within the last few years, have added Dermaplaning, Microneedling, and HydraFacials to that list. I love being able to offer services that boost women’s confidence. I truly value each and every one of my clients, and I make sure that they all feel that during their service.
