Today we’d like to introduce you to KC Flash.

Hi KC, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I subconsciously started out my career very young in a 6 bedroom home with my entire family living in it. Just an ordinary south side Chicago kid with dreams to be the next Michael Jordan or Michael Jackson in whatever profession they were passionate about at the time.

Early on as a kid, my family recognized that I had talents none of my other siblings or cousins had which were singing and playing the piano by ear. From that moment on, I was taught daily the fundamentals of playing the piano by my mother and grandfather who both were musically inclined.

As I grew up on the south side, it helped in a tremendous way to get me where I am today despite the poverty and violence. It helped me recognize that music was my stress relief and a way to get away from my problems. Until this day, I still sing, play the piano, and gained skills in rapping.

My family, talents, and environment helped me get to where I am today in the biggest ways.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has never been a smooth road for me. Struggles such as depression, family and friend deaths by violence, temptation, and PTSD have always been the toughest things that’ discouraged me.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a musician (Singer and Rapper), Writer, YouTuber, and Record Producer. I specialize in the musician field because of my effortless talents to sing, rap, and perform.

I’m known for my mind-blowing singing, versatile way of rapping, and memorable performances. I’m most proud of my growth and ability to think outside the box about my professional decisions. My thought structure and understanding of music sets me apart from others.

My talent and skill range helped put me in a different lane than others.

Many people can collaborate with me as long as they are true to who they are and have talent or skill.

I have a great personality and love to help everyone so it’s least likely for me to decline anyone’s offer to work with me.
