Today we’d like to introduce you to Kent Hollingsworth.
Hi Kent, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in the Kansas City Area. After graduating from K-State, I knew I wanted to come back home to live and work.
I’ve built a family here with my wife and 2 kids and when we bought our first home I enjoyed the process so much that I started looking into the real estate industry and found my skills were uniquely fit for a mortgage advisor. I love helping people with the planning and execution of the dream of owning a home.
I have been able to help individuals and families move into their dream homes or invest in rentals for additional side income. I have built my business on helping clients through the confusing process of attaining a mortgage and making it easy to understand!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Starting a new business, in general, is difficult but starting one in the midst of a pandemic comes with its own challenges.
While I have benefited from historically low rates, getting in front of clients in a socially distanced culture was tough.
The way I have been able to differentiate myself from other lenders is through creative marketing and customer service that seems lost in a growing industry dominated by automation.

I think we have all realized how valuable our homes are.
When we all realized our home was our home/office/daycare/school/restaurant we were reminded that we need to take care of and continually keep up with our homes.
