Hidden Gems: Meet Ashton Farris

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashton Farris.

Hi Ashton, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
You asked me how I started… well, I have been an entrepreneur since I was 7 years old. Selling my sister’s extra school supplies and candy to the kids at school that I would buy in bulk from the gas station. It grew from there. I always knew I would be an entrepreneur. When I finished college with Business and Marketing, I honestly didn’t know where to go from there.

So I went to Esthetician school and got my license. Working in the beauty industry I would go on to start my own LLC Too Pretty CO which has been very successful since starting in the summer of 2021. Too Pretty Co is an esthetician full-service company and boutique. I sew and design each piece by hand. My great grandmother taught me to sew and my life partner taught me with a sewing machine.

I met my business partner Corey Hilliard in July of 2019 and we immediately hit it off. He came to me with an idea that he started in 2015, an idea that fit the vision I had for myself. See, I have been modeling since I was 5 years old, my sister was a toddler in tiara champion 3x, my grandmother was a big-time model, and PlayBoy bunny in her day. So modeling always ran in the family. When Corey came to me with the opportunity to not only amplify my own modeling career but be able to grow and impact others on their journeys.

Whether it was for a short or long period of time, I have been blessed to work with so many models and entrepreneurs and help them grow, gain opportunities through marketing, and be able to impact their lives in a positive way. That has always been my true destiny. Now our company is 2 going on 3 years strong. We are growing vastly and have some major moves coming up. I am excited to expand AO Management as a company with a team that should all be honored for their dedication and hard work.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being an entrepreneur is never easy. Your own family doesn’t even support you right off the bat most of the time. I know mine didn’t, and that is something I had to be okay with until they could see my visions in fruition. People will always want to try and tear down something great. You will lose friends when you start to become greater than your previous self.

You have to be strong enough to not respond or let it get to you. Being positive, moving positively, will attract positivity. It made me work harder and smarter.

We’ve been impressed with AO Management and Too Pretty Co., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ao Management is a platform for models, photographers, videographers, music creatives, and more to market themselves and get their careers started or blossom into a wider audience.

We are here to help people in any way possible. Whether it is photoshoots, content creation, creative direction, hosting, or something for their own businesses via promotion. AO Management Group was made for everyone and anyone is welcomed. Too Pretty Co., is a full-service Esthetics company and lingerie, bikini, two pieces, dress, and loungewear boutique where the pieces are hand made and designed by me. I specialize in everything skincare, waxing, brows, and a master in lash extensions.

Too Pretty Co is everything unique as each piece is hand made and all services are performed after years of professional licensing and practice. Too Pretty Co is made for everyone to leave feeling and being “Too Pretty” or “Too Handsome.”
